The Mountainfilm Festival is America's premier festival of mountain,
adventure, cultural and environmental film and video, now in its
28th year. It is a collection of some of the most brilliant minds and
impassioned spirits of our time. They are the maestros in the fields of filmmaking,
exploration, scientific inquiry, cultural preservation and environmental solution.

REMORA RECORDS Loud Sponsor of Mountainfilm in Telluride 2006

Remora was approached by festival organizers to create and
provide custom music for Mountainfilm’s Montages. These short
subject films created from both old and new footage and set to
music, are shown as introductions to Telluride‘s many venues of
World debut films. Montages also help to acknowledge the
complete group of Festival Sponsors. Remora Revues’ creator
Tom Trefethen, wrote, scored and produced three original works
this year, each targeting a different mood of festival offerings.
The musical backdrops were recorded and mixed analog to tape
at Remora Recording. In addition to the usual suspects,
members of the acclaimed rock group Ambrosia contributed.
Actor Jon Gries returned to narrate ‘The Writer’ - Download

Anniversary ‘A Tribute to Lennon’ - www.lennontribute.com)

This piece examines the manic
mind of a writer. Follow actor Jon
Gries (Pretender, X-Files, Napolean
Dynamite) as he guides you on a
journey of birth, growth, death &
resurrection of a story idea. Blast-off
& experience extreme heights of
delusionary success, only to be
returned to the depths of a table-
clearing reality.

Mountainfilm’s many spectacular
nature films inspired this pure instru-
mental. Heidi presents a romantic,
blank, musical canvas to the editor’s
brush. Chris North of Ambrosia fame,
shows off the rich sound of Remora’s
late 40’s G Model hammond organ.
Brian Asher shares his talent & tone
with the cello.

shrunken heads together to produce
these African inspired surf rhythms.
